On Thursday, March 12, 2020, Mississippi health officials held a press conference in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. These officials requested that any  organization hosting a community event with 250 or more attendees strongly consider canceling, especially if held within the next 30 days. All Meridian, Mississippi community events scheduled on the weekend of April 4-5 have been canceled or rescheduled.

After careful consideration we decided to cancel. We considered limiting attendance to lower numbers, but still saw a possible health risk to attendees that we were not willing take.

Join us as a Maker at Maker Faire Meridian in 2021. Tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and entrepreneurs all come together to show their projects and to talk about what they have learned. Our current and past Makers have been greeted by an enthusiastic and interested crowd ages 8 to 91. Each year Makers inspire others to become Makers, too. There are more than 150 different categories of Makers that participate in the events around the world. What do you Make?
